【密西沙加，2025年7月1日】今日，加拿大注册执业营养师公会（ACPN： The Association of Certified Professional Nutritionists）与密西沙加金枫华人老年协会在阳光明媚的公园中联合举办了一场别开生面的国庆特别聚会。活动现场欢声笑语，老年朋友们亲手烹制的“有灵魂的绿豆糖水”成为亮点，既消暑又暖心，为夏日增添了一份甜蜜与温情。

[Mississauga, July 1, 2025] – Today, the Association of Certified Professional Nutritionists (ACPN) and the Mississauga Golden Maple Chinese Seniors Association co-hosted a special Canada Day celebration in a sunlit park. The event was filled with laughter and joy, with the highlight being the seniors’ homemade “soul-warming mung bean soup”—a refreshing and heartfelt treat that added sweetness and warmth to the summer day.
Centered around the theme of “Health, Happiness, and Community Unity,” the gathering welcomed both longtime friends and new faces. Newcomers quickly blended into the cheerful atmosphere, sharing in the festive spirit. ACPN nutritionists also provided practical dietary advice, combining professional expertise with community care.
“We hope events like this bring seniors a sense of belonging while promoting the importance of scientific nutrition,” said an ACPN representative. “Moving forward, we will continue collaborating with the Golden Maple Seniors Association to organize more health workshops, cooking classes, and interactive activities to support seniors’ well-being.”
